The approach
The owner is also the chef, so the mark had to feel personal. A modern handwritten typeface carries the name, while simple harmonic curves suggest the steam rising from a hot plate — and read as a wing, for speed of delivery.
The menu pairs two typefaces only, using caps, lowercase and a complementary colour to separate titles, codes and dish descriptions. The result is elegant, cheap to print and very fast to read.
